Why us

Four things most New York
plumbers will not put in writing.

01 — Price A number before we start, not after A written quote agreed up front. If the job changes, the price is re-quoted and re-approved before a tool moves.
02 — Paper Permits filed in-house DOB applications, plan review, inspection scheduling and final sign-off are handled by us. You are not chasing an expediter, and the job does not stall waiting on someone else's filing.
03 — Access Certificate of insurance the same day Co-op and condo boards will not let a plumber past the freight elevator without a COI naming the building. Send us the managing agent's requirements and it is issued the same day.
04 — People One licensed name on the job The Licensed Master Plumber whose number is on the permit is the person accountable for the work. You get their mobile, not a call centre and not a rotating subcontractor.

03 / SEQUENCE

How a job runs

From the first call to the final sign-off.

  1. 01

    Call or book

A licensed plumber — not a dispatcher reading a script — takes the details, tells you whether this is an emergency or can wait until Tuesday, and gives you an arrival window.

  2. 02

    Diagnose on site

Camera, meter and pressure test where the fault is not obvious. You see what we see. Guessing is how a small leak becomes a replaced ceiling.

  3. 03

    Written quote

A written price covering labour, material and disposal, plus the permit cost if one is required. You approve it before any work begins.

  4. 04

    Permit and building clearance

Where the work is permitted, we file with the DOB and issue the COI your managing agent needs. Where it is not, we skip straight to the wrench.

  5. 05

    Execute, test and close out

Work performed to NYC Plumbing Code, pressure tested, inspected where required, and signed off. You get the paperwork, the warranty and the photos.

Where we work

Based on 11th Avenue.
Working across four boroughs.

The shop sits at 589 11th Ave, between 43rd and 44th, which puts a van in Midtown or the far West Side in minutes. That is a Manhattan address, not a Manhattan-only service area: the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens get the same licensed crew, the same written quote and same-day coverage.

05 / QUESTIONS

Before you call

Straight answers.

Do I actually need a Licensed Master Plumber, or will any plumber do?

For anything involving gas piping, water supply, drainage, or work requiring a DOB permit, New York City law requires a Licensed Master Plumber. That includes Local Law 152 gas inspections, water main work, and most fixture relocations. A handyman can change a washer; they cannot legally re-pipe your bathroom or touch a gas line, and work done without the licence will not pass inspection.

How fast can you actually get here in an emergency?

For Midtown, Hell's Kitchen and the West Side, typically under an hour. Elsewhere in Manhattan, usually within two. The Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens are covered every day too — the window there depends on the time and the crossing, and you are told a realistic one rather than an optimistic one. If we cannot get there fast enough, we will say so instead of leaving you waiting.

What does it cost?

Diagnostic visits carry a call-out fee that is credited against the work if you go ahead. Repairs are quoted in writing before we start. Permitted work carries the DOB filing fee, which is itemised separately at cost rather than marked up.

My managing agent needs a certificate of insurance. Can you provide one?

Yes — general liability, workers' compensation and disability, with the building, the managing agent and the owner named as additional insureds if that is what the requirements call for. Send the building's COI template when you book and it is issued the same day.

Do you work with property managers and commercial tenants?

Regularly. Multi-family portfolios, restaurants and bars, retail, hotels and offices, on both call-out and scheduled preventive maintenance. For restaurants that means grease traps and the health inspection that follows; for offices it means work scheduled outside business hours so nothing stops.

Is the work guaranteed?

Labour is warrantied in writing, and manufacturer warranties on parts and equipment are registered in your name and handed over with the paperwork. If something we repaired fails within the warranty period, we return and make it right.
